Amry Truitt

Originally from Gainesville, Virginia, Amry Truitt  went to Shenandoah Conservatory as a  Music Production & Recording Technology Major with an emphasis in classical saxophone (2023).  Shortly after, she interned at Blackbird Studios where she learned the in's and outs of the daily operations of the recording industry. While at Blackbird, Amry was offered to be an Assistant Engineer to a Disney Project for Tokyo Disney. Amry now is at an apprenticeship at Sound Emporium Studios where she is learning all the ins and outs of becoming a well rounded engineer. Amry has worked with several different consoles including the API Legacy, SSL Duality, Avid S6, Beringer X-32, DiGiCo SD9, and the Otari MTR 90 tape machine. She is also proficient in softwares like Pro Tools, Logic Pro X, Microsoft Office Suite, and Final Cut Pro with certifications in Pro Tools and Dante Level I. Amry has also had personal experience with her skills by being a Live Stream/Sound Consultant at Leeds Episcopal Church in Hume, Virginia for their weekly sermons. Amry also does on site recordings for clients in the area and has applied her different microphone techniques to the test to give the consumer top notch recording of their project. Amry is dedicated to her work and is very passionate about creating awareness about women in audio and allowing that to let her soar into new heights. Amry is a dedicated audio engineer that is here to make your audio needs a reality.
